Like a lotus from the mud, Sarah Ezrin’s yoga practice blossomed out of less than easy times. Sarah first explored yoga during University as a stress reducer, however, once she noticed that the most significant impacts of her practice were occurring off the mat, yoga quickly became a way of life.
In her early 20’s, Sarah found herself at a crossroads when her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Unfulfilled by her career in the film industry and prompted by her mother’s impending passing, Sarah decided to make a significant life change and follow her heart- teaching yoga. Life is too short not to.
Sarah has had many gifted teachers over the years including Annie Carpenter, Sonya Cottle, Joan Hyman, Bryan Kest, Rudy Mettia, and Lisa Walford. Sarah is 500 hours trained, as well as a certified YogaWorks teacher.
Sarah is a dedicated ashtanga practitioner and strong vinyasa flow teacher.
Her fun, but challenging classes explore breath-linked movement within intelligent sequencing and a lot of laughter. Sarah’s ultimate goal is to make yoga universal and accessible to all.
Sarah continues to grow every day on her mat, as does her practice. She has been blessed with truly amazing teachers and is both honored and humbled to now impart the gift of yoga to her own students.
Sarah’s mother passed away March 9, 2010. Her life and her practice are dedicated to her mum- Frances Elizabeth Ezrin.
